If you use the GHIN Mobile App to post scores, check your Handicap Index or help you during a round, you’ll soon notice, or may have already, that things look a little different.
The USGA has officially rolled out a redesigned GHIN Mobile App, with a cleaner look and several improvements aimed at making the app easier to use both on and off the golf course.
The important thing to know: This is a redesign, not a replacement. The overall structure of the app isn’t changing, so if you’ve used the GHIN Mobile App for years, you’ll still be able to find the features and tools you love the most.
Here are a few of the changes you can expect:
A Cleaner Home Screen
Your Handicap Index and other commonly used tools will be easier to find, along with new Revision Highlights showing your latest Score Differential, the next score that will drop from your scoring record, and your best performances of the last 20 rounds played.
An Easier On-Course Experience
Setting up a round, keeping score, and tracking stats will take you fewer taps. You’ll also be able to easily switch between the GPS function and your digital scorecard while playing.
More Stats About Your Game
An expanded Stats section will provide more ways to see trends in your game, including improved visuals, hole-by-hole information, advanced stats and course-specific data.
More Ways to Play
GHIN is also improving group scoring and match play, making golfer search easier, and introducing a redesigned Apple Watch experience available to all golfers.
The GHIN Mobile App you already know isn’t going away. It’s simply getting a refreshed look and some new tools designed to make things easier for you before, during and after your round.
Go wherever you download apps, and update your GHIN Mobile App today!
