Enriching the lives of every Idaho golfer

Idaho Golf Association (IGA) is a 501 (C)(7) non-profit organization founded in 1969 with the goal of being an all-encompassing governing body for amateur golf in Idaho. The IGA is comprised of approximately 23,000 members and 81 member courses.

The IGA is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of 15 men and women who serve three-year terms. Operations are administered by eight full-time employees and multiple USGA P.J. Boatwright Interns. Its 18 state championships and various USGA qualifiers are conducted each year in addition to over 30 events on the Idaho Junior Tour schedule.

The IGA Board of Directors commissioned Club Benchmarking, a private club industry consulting firm, to facilitate a strategic planning process intended to create a roadmap for the IGA over the next five years.

This strategic plan is an essential step forward for the IGA as it carries great potential and momentum in growing the value of amateur golf in Idaho. It defines its mission, vision, and brand, as well as its core values and strategic pillars.
