IGA Announces Change in Executive Director’s Office

Boise, Idaho — The Idaho Golf Association’s Board of Directors announced Monday the departure of Executive Director Caleb Cox. Kyle Weeks, IGA Director of Rules & Competitions, will serve as Interim Executive Director.  

"The Board of Directors is incredibly grateful for Caleb’s service to the Idaho Golf Association for his six years as executive director,” Board President Abby Black said. “Caleb leaves the association in a position of strength, and we wish him the best on his next endeavor.” 

Cox joined the IGA in 2017 to oversee Member Services and Course Rating and was appointed executive director in 2020. Cox helmed the IGA through a historic 62% growth in membership over the next 5 years. He was instrumental in launching the Idaho Golf Hall of Fame, which inducted its inaugural class in 2024. He also pushed to move the IGA Member Club Tournament Book into a more accessible digital platform.  
 
Weeks joined the IGA in 2024 to oversee Rules and Competitions. A Class-A PGA Member, Weeks brings industry relationships and experience to the interim role and will lead the organization while the Board of Directors conducts its search for the IGA’s next era of leadership.  

“My goal for this period is simply to support my colleagues in any way I can,” Weeks said. “A change in leadership will not stop the hard work and dedication this staff brings to the Idaho Golf community every single day. The IGA is committed to continuing Caleb’s efforts to enrich the lives of every Idaho golfer.”
