TOC at Meadow Creek Resort
While the Men’s and Women’s State Amateur Championships — followed by the Mid-Amateur, Junior Am and Match Play — rightly receive the most attention, the Tournament of Champions is a fitting finale to the season for the Idaho Golf Association. And it’s one that deserves a moment of reflection.
As part of our mission to engage, enhance and grow the Idaho golf community, we are committed to hosting championships for the best in Idaho. But Idaho’s network of member clubs, where golfers of all abilities and persuasions engage with the game, is really at the core of what we care about as an Allied Golf Association. And the Tournament of Champions is a nod to that core, capping off our championship schedule by inviting club champions from across the IGA to gather for one last event as fall colors bloom and the golf season begins winding down toward winter.
This year, Meadow Creek Resort in New Meadows was as stunning as it was demanding for the 2025 IGA champions. Tucked away in the valley just north of McCall, Meadow Creek Resort makes players uneasy from tee to green, featuring tight corridors defined by towering pines that echo when your ball inevitably strikes them. But once you have a putter in hand, the small, domed green surfaces have a tendency to send you walking back for your wedge. Just one player carded a round under par, and five others battled their way to well-earned victories.
